JingleBank Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a jingle cost?
The second cost factor is the extent of the production involved. JingleBank
jingles come in one of three forms:
Generics:
These are “off the rack” jingles.
What you hear is what you get.
We make no modifications to the jingle and your name will not
be in the jingle. Because
these involve very little production, they cost as little as a few
hundred dollars in
very small markets.
Customizations:
To continue the garment analogy, a customized jingle is like
buying a suit and having it altered for you.
We take an existing music track and completely re-write and
re-sing the lyrics to your specific needs. Full Custom: To finish with the garment analogy, a fully customized jingle is like buying a fine suit from a tailor. Our writers and producers will work with you every step of the way to craft the perfect jingle for your needs... from music selection... to lyric writing... vocal adaptation and on through the final production in our recording studios.
How do I get started? Once you know what jingle you’d like, drop us an e-mail at JingleBank<at>TMCentury.com and tell us the following: 1) The name and number of the jingle you’d like. We’ll get back right back to you and let you know if the jingle is available in the market and quote you prices for the production and license. It’s that easy! If you have any questions you can always call us at (972) 406-6800. Our writers will work with you to create
the perfect sound you're looking for. Whatever your challenge, the
creative team at JingleBank is ready to meet your needs.
It all depends on the complexity of the project. However, a typical project can be produced within a week and generics can ship the day they are ordered. The timeline is largely dependent on you. We will not ship a jingle until you are 100% satisfied with the work. And, if we can’t meet your expectations, we will refund 100% of your investment. Each jingle is licensed exclusively to the markets you choose. Once you license a jingle, no one else in that market can use the jingle. A ‘market’ is defined (in the US) as the Nielson TV DMA, or television market. Your JingleBank rep can tell you the specific counties within your chosen DMA. Within that market, you are free to use the jingle on any radio, television or cable station; on your ‘message on hold system’ and Internet site. JingleBank jingles are licensed for an initial
period of 99 years...there are no annual renewal fees.
No. While some clients enjoy writing lyrics, most depend on our writers and composers to craft the lyrics. We’ll work with you and your staff every step of the way to produce the exact sound you’re looking for. All JingleBank jingles are produced in our state-of-the-art studios in Dallas, Texas. You are more than welcome to attend the recording session where your jingle is produced. Whether it is a generic, customization or full
custom—your JingleBank jingle will be delivered to you on CD in numerous
versions. Most JingleBank jingles are produced in a tri-vocal format;
where the ‘sing’ is at the beginning, middle and end of the sixty-second
jingle. From that basic tri-vocal format we will send you numerous :30 and
:60 mix-outs with sings at the front-only, back-only, front and back, etc.
Your JingleBank consultant will work with you every step of the way to
make certain that the finished product is exactly what you’ve imagined.
We’ve produced jingles in many different languages over the years. Our parent company, Jones TM, has recorded jingles in Russian, Spanish, French, German, Latvian, Japanese, Icelandic and numerous other languages. Yes. It is not uncommon for us to produce, for instance, both an English and a Spanish version of the same jingle. Your JingleBank rep can tell you more about the language options available to you. Because we guarantee the work. If we can’t produce the perfect jingle for you, we’ll refund 100% of your investment. |
