second year in a row, the two venues that people say
they’re shopping less from are downtown stores and enclosed
shopping malls. Freestanding stores repeat as the most popular shopping
destination.
Consumer shopping patterns have been changing over the last several years.
Freestanding stores have surpassed the malls and downtown stores in
popularity. This is a boon for you as a rep because you can go direct to the decision maker without working through an association or
corporate office, which can be very time consuming.
Sales at clothing and accessories stores stayed strong in March. Spring’s
arrival also spurred sales at building material and garden equipment and
suppliers. Before you know it, “Back To School” advertising will be upon
us.

Don’t
wait until a client asks you for a jingle. Most won’t. Not because
they don’t want or need one, but many business owners may assume
they can’t afford one or frankly don’t know how to go about getting
