Sports Season Is Upon Us

sailing. Fall is the best season of the year for sports bars and
restaurants. The increase in televised sports combined with less
clement weather brings the crowds in...that is if they know you

Ideas That Work!
Have you ever looked at a bag of lawn fertilizer? What do you see on
packaging? A picture of the product? Little grey lumps of fertilizer?
No, of course not. You see a picture of the results! Thick, weed free
grass. And after all, that is what they are really selling...results.
What are you selling? The ability for that advertiser to communicate
with thousands of potential clients...and the success that follows.
At least when I buy a bag of fertilizer I have sense of what I just paid for. However, when I buy advertising for TM Century (our
parent company) I usually walk away with nothing. Rarely does a vendor
come back to me and say "Hey, your ad was just seen by 10,000 people!" I
can't remember ever having received a tear sheet from any print
publication with anything other than an invoice.
Take time to reinforce an advertiser's decision to invest in your
company by following up with them on a regular basis and letting them
know how many people have been exposed to their advertising in the last
week or month. It builds confidence, expands rapport, and reinforces the
client's decision in invest with you.
